Sweden beat Poland 3–1 at Strawberry Arena on 28 September 2026, securing a second successive victory at the start of their Nations League campaign. The result followed the 2–1 win over Romania three days earlier and left Sweden with six points from two matches.

Benjamin Nygren opened the scoring after eight minutes, heading in from close range after Victor Nilsson Lindelöf had helped on Besfort Zeneli’s cross. Poland responded before the interval, with Sebastian Szymański bringing the visitors level.

Sweden regained control after the break. Yasin Ayari restored the lead following a quickly taken corner from Sebastian Nanasi, working space before finishing into the far corner. Viktor Gyökeres then volleyed in Patrik Wålemark’s cross six minutes later to establish a two-goal margin.

The Swedish Football Association reported an attendance of 24,637 in Solna. Graham Potter’s team completed the evening with another three points and a strong opening position in Group B4.
